Booking & Payments Made Simple

Planning your safari should be exciting, not complicated. That’s why we keep our booking and payment information clear and straightforward. Below you’ll find all the practical steps – from deposits to final confirmation – so you always know exactly where you stand.

How to Book

Start by reaching out to us at info@ebonjalo.com or see our contact page for the other ways to contact us. We’ll discuss your wishes and prepare a tailor-made itinerary and quotation.
While we are always happy to brainstorm with you via WhatsApp, your official booking confirmation and all related travel documents will be sent by email.

Deposits and Balance

  • To confirm your booking, a 50% deposit of the total trip cost is required.
  • Gorilla and chimpanzee permits must always be paid 100% upfront, as these are non-refundable and limited in availability.
  • The remaining 50% balance is due no later than 14 days before the start of your safari.
  • You will receive a reminder and final invoice approximately 4 weeks before your trip.

Payment Methods

We use Wise as our primary payment method.

  • You can make a secure bank transfer via Wise in USD or EUR.
  • Wise also allows payments by credit card in most countries.
  • Transaction fees charged by your bank or Wise are the responsibility of the client.

Currency

All prices on our website are listed in USD.
If you prefer, we can provide your quotation and invoice in EUR. Please let us know your preference when booking.

Invoices and Confirmation

All invoices are issued under JANBOELO (The Netherlands), the registered company behind Ebonjalo. The invoice clearly states the Ebonjalo name and logo for easy reference.
Once we have received your deposit, your booking is confirmed. After we receive the full balance, you will receive your final travel documents, including permits and a detailed itinerary.

Cancellations

Our detailed cancellation policy is explained in the General Terms & Conditions.
In short: cancellations made 61 days or more before departure are partly refundable (minus fees and permits), while cancellations within 15 days are non-refundable.
